Offered for the Regular Program: 1st to 5th grade

Course proposal:

Sensorial, cognitive and motor activities that develop the creativity, the focus and the presence, the opening to the new, the self esteem, the skill of expression and elaboration of feelings, empathy, tolerance to frustration and lessen anxiety. By doing the artistic activity, the child selects, interprets and transforms elements, expressing, at the same time, their identity.

About the teacher:

Carolina Carvalho is a Móbile School alumni, majored in Architecture from Presbiteriana Mackenzie University, in Performing Arts from Centro Artes e Educação Célia Helena post-graduated in Art Therapy from Instituto Faces. Currently, studying Psychoanalysis at CEP – Centro de Estudos Psicanalíticos.

This course develops techniques of the Brazilian popular guitar, pop, rock and folk. It also works on vocal dexterity and introduces the electric guitar and bass.

Gymnastics

Developing physical skills like strength, flexibility, and balance as well as cooperation.

Judo

Through ludic practices, judo proposes to teach values like discipline, togetherness, hierarchy and perseverance.

Maker workshop

Students initiate the contact with fast prototyping, electronic components, and creative technology.

Performing Arts

From theatrical games the course aims to teach theater principles and help students develop body consciousness and self-confidence

Programming

In class, programming language is used to build games and websites.

Rollerblading

Rollerblading stimulates concentration and develops balance. Our main objective is discipline, coordination, and joy.

Skateboard

Learning to make tricks with different difficulty levels (with or without obstacles) and working on balance and coordination on the skateboard.

Sportive initiation

This course aims to broaden motor repertoire, improving physical capabilities and motor skills that guide sportive practices of volleyball, handball, basketball, and indoor football.

Taekwondo

In class, students work on attention, self-esteem, flexibility, motor skills and creativity.

Tennis

Teaching children in a ludic and delightful manner with balls, rackets and special materials the basic principles of tennis.

Violin

This course develops musical and body perception, concentration, logical thinking, and coordination.

Woodwork

This course deepens manual abilities, planning capability and project evaluation.

Yoga

Posture breathing and visualization are stimulated by body consciousness, keeping calm and concentrating.
