In the Performing Arts course of the 8th grade Bilingual Program (Full-Time Period), our students experience the conception, creation and production of a movie in English. They organize themselves into groups that carry out a series of roles in a filming set; plateau, continuity, clapperboard, sound and cast execution. Besides that, they’re responsible for the media plan, QR codes production with information about the short films, making of and subtitles. The audiovisual language is used in the Performing Arts course to work the four skills that relate to each other: investigating, creating, cooperating and communicating. At the end of the project, each group presents their short film. This presentation is open to family and other invitees.
